Foxcliff Estates South is nestled in beautiful Morgan County, the gateway to southern Indiana.

 

Association Dues - A reminder that the first installment of the association dues is due in the office on February 1st. Please do not use Proxy Ballot envelope for mailing your dues payment, as those envelopes will not be opened until February 12, 2012, at the annual meeting.

Meet the Candidates Night - A "Meet the Candidates" night has been set for Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. Light refreshments will be served.

 

2012 ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

 

The Foxcliff Estates South Board of Directors (the Board) feels it is important for as many Members as possible to vote for the upcoming vacant positions on the Board.  Members are entitled to one vote for each lot owned.  If more than one person owns interest in a lot, the vote shall be exercised as they determine among themselves, only one (1) vote may be cast with respect to any one (1) lot.  Any owners(s) who are in arrears of any amount due under provisions of the Articles of Incorporation, the Declaration of Restrictions or the By-Laws for a period of thirty (30) days or more may not cast a vote in this election for any lot upon which amounts(s) are due, as their voting right is suspended for those lots until all payments are brought current and all defaults remedied.

 

For an election to be valid a quorum of the members, either in-person or via proxy, must be present to conduct the election.  Use of a proxy ballot allows the Association to attain that quorum.  In regards to voting for the Board of Directors, at any meeting of members, members which in aggregate have twenty-five percent (25%) of the total votes of the members shall constitute a quorum.

 

Members are urged to attend the 2012 Annual Meeting and cast direct votes. Recognizing that some may not be able to attend, we have mailed the Proxy / Absentee Ballot to allow your participation.  The proxy/absentee ballot is used ONLY to cast votes for the Director vacancy and will not be used in any other way. Also included are voting instructions, proxy/absentee ballots and statements of candidates for each of the candidates.  Please review the statements, complete the proxy/absentee ballot, and return it to our office on or before February 12, 2012.

 

Do not include any other correspondence or annual association dues, as envelopes will not be opened until the Annual Membership meeting.

SPECIAL ASSESSMENT MEETING

Notice to Members

At the second Special Meeting of the Membership held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, to decide the issue of approving or rejecting a special assessment, the membership voted to approve the special assessment by a vote of 121 "for" and 44 "against" the special assessment. As a total of 110 votes was required for passing, the special assessment was approved. The Special Assessment will be paid over three consecutive years at $123 per year beginning September 1, 2012.

CRIME WATCH MEMBERS WANTED - We are trying to revitalize the Safety Committee's membership. This committee meets "on-call" and is responsible for the Crime Watch Program and the Emergency Response Team. If you are interested in joining this committee please contact Carolyn in the Association Office or Preston Richards at 349-1688.

House Plans Available

FESHA's records policy relating to house plans identifies a five-year retention timeframe after the year the plans are approved. If your house was build in 2005 or earlier, and if you do not currently have a copy of your plans, contact Carolyn in the FESHA Office to see if we have an archive copy. If we do have an archive copy, you are welcome to schedule a time to pick them up.

APPROVED 2011 BUDGET

The APPROVED 2011 Budget for Foxcliff South is at the above link. The Board of Directors approved the 2011 budget at the December 12, 2010 Board of Directors meeting.

OFFICE HOURS: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Closed on Tuesdays.)

Second Wednesday of each month: Office opens at 1:00 PM to accommodate Monthly Board Meeting starting at 7:00 PM

PRIOR NEWS

Board of Director Meetings:

The Board of Directors have regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month. The next regular meeting of your Board of Directors is WEDNESDAY, January 11th at 7:00 PM at the Clubhouse. Members are welcome and invited to attend.

Phone Installed, Rental Contract Revised - We have installed a phone in the common area of the Clubhouse. This phone shares a line with the Pool Phone. During pool operating hours, pool personnel have priority use of this line. In the unlikely event that no one has a cell phone, Clubhouse lesees may use the phone for essential calls. No long distance calls are permitted from this phone. The Clubhouse Rental Contract has been updated with this information.
